 +You can flash the router from a PC using the [[http://​www.asus.com/​Networking/​EAN66/#​support_Download|Firmware Restoration utility]] or via [[doc:​howto:​generic.flashing.tftp|TFTP]].

 +To put the EA-N66 in recovery mode, disconnect power from the router first, then hold the reset button (pinhole button below the EA-N66) while powering on.

 +The antenna lights will slowly alternate between dim and bright to signal that the router is waiting for a firmware to be uploaded.

 +The router IP in recovery mode is 192.168.1.1/​255.255.255.0 and your PC should be configured as 192.168.1.75/​255.255.255.0 (the router sends ARP requests to 192.168.1.75 before accepting a TFTP flash).
