Opening the case

Note: This will void your warranty! No screws are used. Plastic ears are tieing toghether the from and the back plastic enclosure. Use a thin screwdriver or an unused credit card to push these ears back one-by-one while trying to separate the enclosure. I have not managed to disassemble without broking some ears.

Main PCB

Serial

port.serial Serial port is the 4 pin header left to the main SoC. Pinout:

  1. 1: 3V3 (square pad)
  2. 2: RX
  3. 3: TX
  4. 4: GND

The factory firmware uses 38400 baud 8n1 configuration.

JTAG

port.jtag There is a 28 pin surface mount connector place at the bottom side. There are multiple JTAG capable devices on the board (main SoC, VDSL SoC, Xilinx CPLD), so it should be a JTAG connector, but phisically I have not tried it out.
